I've been horrible w/ updating this lately.. tomorrow WOULD've marked like exactly a month [well, i guess like an hour wouldve done it too.. gosh.. that wouldve been sweet!] since I last posted.. but I'm not one for perfect spacing.. haha.. So here goes:
Work Work Work . . . I've worked 100 hours every 2 weeks for pretty much the last 2 months, so that's been fun.. I've been making much more $$$ than i ever have before though, so thats kinda nice =).. I feel like I haven't been in school in like 8 years, but thats understandable.. by the time i go back, i'll have had a 5 month summer... ...absolutely insane. There's no way I have anything left in my brain from previous years. No way whatsoever.
Anyway.. I've been getting settled into our new house that we moved into, and i totally love it.. it's much bigger, and fits my family so much better i think.. I love that everyone has their own room, too.. it really makes a big difference... ...hahaha and im pretty sure we all get along better now too =) not that we didnt before.. it's just better =)
I'm totally missing the B.G.'s right now [Baby Girls].. Tawny and Erika went back to PLU and left me, dennica, and samo to wallow in our sorrow ;).. but we've been managing! Doing lots of shopping and keeping busy =)

Just thought I'd do a quick little update..
My summer's going pretty well- I've been working a whole lot, so that's kept me busy.. and I've been hanging out w/ Tawny tons- going on the best dates EVER, going and taking pictures and spending SO much money on clothes.. lol [so much that I get yelled at for it ;)].. it's been fun!!
Working two jobs is kind of a killer on tuesdays and wednesdays.. only because i tend to work 7-9 a.m. for best shot and then 1:30-10 p.m. for Big 5, so it has taken its toll on me.. but its okay.. because its thursday! and that means im done until tuesday!! haha yay..
We put our house up for sale.. The sign got nailed into the ground and pictures have been taken of it and posted up on the internet like its some whore [lol.. whore house, tawny.. hahaha].. it's sad, but i'm happy to be moving.. change is good and i'm SO excited to finally have my own room!!! Eeeee! haha
My younger sisters are leaving for Mexico tomorrow.. I'm going to miss them!! I hope they have fun, though, and reach lots of people on their mission.. They'll remember this coming week for the rest of their lives!.. thats awesome.
Alrighty, well, they're very last-minute [just like me] and definitely need to go out and buy shorts and caps and stuff.. so apparently its my duty to take them out for that purpose.. told you this would be short!! hahaha.. Have a great evening, everyone! <3 |

Wow, so I've already gone to work for two hours at 6th St., making coffee and being PERKY! and then I went to the gym for like an hour and a half and had the best workout I've had since..I think since I got my membership there! lol.. and yeah! I saw Jherey, Jeff, and Matt there, so that was cool.. and now I'm home, eating toast for lunch.. ..even though I guess it's still breakfast time? I'm a mess! Hahaha..
Yesterday was a very packed day.. I went to the gym around 10, and left at about 11:30, only to hit a car coming out of the parking lot on the highway.. Needless to say, that was not a good thing to do.. I got a ticket, my insurance is going to go sky-high, and I'll have to live with the fact that I hit a girl's brand new 2005 ford focus on her 20th birthday.. Go me.
But I've calmed down a lot since then, thanks to a few special people =) Thanks so much, you guys.. You're the best!.. And yes, I went to Big 5 to work a grueling 8 hours there about 2 hours later.. and got off around 10 P.M.. but it wasn't nearly as bad as it sounds.. I like working there =)
So today, I'll have worked 10 full hours by 10 P.M. tonight.. and I doubt I'll have the energy to do anything afterwards.. I work 7 hours tomorrow, at 6th St. and at the cafe [boo].. but I need all the money I can get.. because I'm going to be paying off the damage done to my car for the rest of my life.. ..I'm so ridiculous..
Alrighty, I hope everyone has a wonderful day and doesn't get into any car accidents.. trust me, that helps the day be a lot less stressful =)

Good evening!
Well, today was quite the long day.. I had to get up and open the coffee stand at 6th St. around 6:45.. which meant I got to wake up at 6 to get ready, and then worked there only until like 8:45.. took off, came back home and fooled around w/ my perfect little blue ipod mini that I got in the mail yesterday.. and then had to leave around 9:15 to go to work at BIG 5..From which I got off at 3 p.m... so a full 8 hours of work.. just kinda separated.. and I still managed to get home by 3:15, so I wouldn't count it as a bad day of work at all =)
We had this crazy man come into work today.. He tried convincing us that these shoes that he had were bought from our store, when really, Big 5 doesn't even carry the things.. I guess he's been trying to scam the system forever and all of the managers know him by name.. but yeah, that was wierd to witness.. I also had to ring up the SMELLIEST guy I've ever been around in my ENTIRE life.. and he seriously was like, one of the gross ones that you only see on TV that scratches himself in public, burps and lets out other bodily gases, and WALKS INTO THE STORE WITHOUT SHOES ON with no shame at all.. haha.. but that's not fair of me.. I don't know his background story or anything!! But he did drop a $100 bill for a coke and a t-shirt.. Odd.
Anyway, so I've already watched 2 movies in a row to keep my mind off of 'things'.. I watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory w/ Tiff and her family on Friday night.. and then last night, Tiff, her sister, Dennica, Tawny, Ashley, and I all went to go watch Wedding Crashers.. which was absolutely hilarious but TOTALLY inappropriate.. I don't know if I could ever watch it again.. it's definitely not a family movie..
After the movie, we went to Taco Bell for dinner and just hung out for a while, and then I went over to Tiff's house and tried to help her figure some things out.. I miss having her around all of the time SO MUCH.. i definitely don't take the time we DO have now [only the weekends] for granted.. She's the best =)
I'm not gunna lie, these have been trying times =).. But theyre what make you come out stronger, ultimately, in the end.. and I guess 'keeping your eye on the prize' is what really matters and is something to look forward to.. I'm praying.. SO much.. I really really am..
..Anyway.. today's weather has been awesome, and if my sisters ever decide to come home, I'm going to take them to go play tennis =) I hope the rest of this summer has some decent weather.. that would be nice!!

Just an update..
Everything has been wonderful, for the most part, up until about 4 days ago.. but thats okay.. we'll get through this and it will all be so much better once the countdown is over..
I'm not even sure if I'm allowed to be attempting to contact you through Livejournal... I guess I just did this just in case you happened to stumble upon it.. =).. I definitely wish this whole situation was easier on us, though.. ..Because I would love to see you.. like.. TONIGHT.. =( ...white chocolate frappuccino?? ;)

So, my best friends from college stayed at my house for a grand total of 4 days and left yesterday.. I was so sad to see them go!! But we had lots of fun- bought tons of clothes, went to lots of parks, and enjoyed the fireworks.. I'm just going to miss them so much until i see them again!! =(
The fourth of july was pretty cool.. We hit up Nicole's house and saw loads and loads of OLY people, which was really cool- I saw people that i hadn't seen since graduation, so that was kinda new!.. And then came back to my house w/ Samo and shot off some fireworks w/ my family for about an hour, and Jor showed up to meet the girls, which was very nice of him =).. afterwards, we went back to Nicole's and watched more fireworks get shot off into the water- her house is gorgeous! I love waterfront houses! And yeah, that was lots of fun, I got to introduce Lindsey and Stefani to everyone and prove to them that I really DO have friends in Bremerton ;) We left Nicole's around 11:30 i think and went to Shari's for some milkshakes [they really do bring all the boys to the yard ;)] and then came back to my house, cuddled lots, and fell asleep =)
So yesterday was a pretty lazy day.. we didn't even get out of my house until like 12:30.. and then we went to the mall and bought lots and lots of shirts.. Stefani bought like $100 worth of clothes from Forever 21- which means LOTS of clothes- and then we visited Victoria's Secret, where my friend Kelly works, and she hooked me up with the Heavenly perfume that they have.. for an AWESOME deal and I'm SOOOO excited about it because it's only my favorite perfume EVER! I got the perfume, lotion, and body wash for like $17.50.. it was insane!!
And then we rented Team America and Stefani bought 2 previously viewed movies from Blockbuster [Dirty Dancing Havanna Nights and Saved!] and so we came home to eat lunch and watch movies.. Around 7, both of the girls left =(.. but then I got to read up on some 1 Timothy =) and then Jor called and so I headed to Stephen's house for some pool and Happy Gilmore, which was soo much fun because I'd never seen all of the movie before! All of that was... yes, LOTS of fun =)
So today is Wednesday.. my 2nd day in a row of not working, and I've been pretty lazy.. but i DID get paid which was pretty cool and already deposited all of the money and visited dennica at her work.. we'll probably do something later today.. =) Alrighty, hope everyone has a great day!! Adios! |

Wow! I didn't get very much sleep last night, but a certain very long phone conversation was well worth it =) ..It's the Fourth of July!!! ...AND 10 A.M. and firecrackers are already being blown off in my neighborhood, making it slightly resemble Compton.. ..not that I've ever been there.
Yesterday was a good day.. I had to work twice, which was a bummer, but I got some surprise visitors that made my job a lot more enjoyable =).. After my first shift, linds and I headed to the mall, and I "splurged" I guess.. lol.. I didn't even spend very much, but it was a lot for ME! I got a track jacket and a shirt from AE and then dropped off lindsey and headed to work..then later Lindsey came back from hanging out w/ Peter and then we went to Erika's house so that she could meet the girls.. LOL Erika, Lindsey pretty much thinks youre the coolest person in the world- ..Maybe its because of your coffee skills... Even I was jealous of that lol..
Going to her house was cool for me too because I got to see my lovelies Dennica, Ashley, and Tawny.. Rachel Deem was there too, and I hadn't seen her in FOREVER! So that was nice.. After Err-ka's we went to go pick up STEFANI DAVIS! and I got to give her directions to Shari's.. whatever works!!
So then we came to my house and left w/ my fam to the drive-in to watch War of the Worlds.. I'm not gunna lie, I was a little dissapointed in the movie.. The special effects were cool, but the plot was horrible, and I didn't particularly love the acting either.. But yeah, hanging out w/ the girls in the back of the truck was definitely a memorable experience and it was fun star gazing and eating food that was horrible for us.
This was the only bad part of the day: As I pulled out of my parking spot at the drive-in, I hit the pole and dented my car =(.. There's nothing I can do about it now, but my dad said it will definitely cost $1000+ for fix.. which is a major bummer, because thats like, every paycheck for a very long time.. but its okay.. people make mistakes.. mine just tend to be a lot more visible to everyone for some reason! haha..
Other than that, it was an awesome day, and ended perfectly =) ..and I'm not even tired this morning! weird..

I had such an awesome day today.. =D
Well, I only worked for half an hour this morning, which was a joke, but that was okay because it gave me a chance to head to the gym early.. and run and work out the abs that I don't have.. and then I headed to the bank and made a deposit, so all in all, I felt fairly productive =)
And then I came home, cleaned up a bit.. and got ready for the day.. Jor picked me up and gave me an AWESOME CD that i LOVE and we went to watch Madagascar.. where we were pretty much the only people above the age of 9, but that was totally fine.. hahaha.. the movie was so funny- short, but funny, and im glad i watched it.. then we went to dinner.. chatted it up, came home, played cards and chess, then played TONS of ping pong at Stephen's house.. Fun, Relaxing, and just what i needed.. Thank you so much, Jor!! =)
So now i'm hanging out at my house.. I really wanted to hang out w/ Erika tonight, but I have to pick up my friend Lindsey from the ferry cuz all of a sudden she decided she's coming tonight instead of tomorrow night! but hey, no complaints! She's one of my best friends and I'm so excited to see her again!!

Yesterday was awesome.
I only worked from 7-8:30 A.M. at the 6th street stand, and then the rest of the day was mine!! Haha.. SaMo came over and we took my sisters to go play some tennis at oly, and that was lots of fun.. The Samanthas beat me and Nina.. but its okay.. we'll get them back next time.. =) And yeah, then it started raining on like the last serve of the game, which was pretty cool.. Then SaMo hung out w/ me at my house for a while and we narrowed down our trip next summer to either the Bahamas or Jamaica, and we're REALLY excited!! I'm kinda leaning more towards the Bahamas.. Just because it's cheaper and it seems to have more to do.. So yeah, we looked up plane ticket and hotel prices, and found that it's actually do-able!! Yay!
Then, SaMo left, and I took my sisters to KFC for dinner [Mom, come back!!].. and then Justin called me to let me know that the kids were playing games at Ridgetop, so I headed over there.. Played a little basketball to begin with, and then Joey, Angela, and Riedman showed up w/ all of Joey's baseball stuff.. so we played that for a while.. Robert and I were in the outfield "rolling" in the "weed" and "grass" and pretty much making as many ridiculous sentences with those words in them as we could.. hahaha.. oh yeah, and i found some 'shrooms!!! lol
After baseball, I'd planned on leaving to go to the gym, but Riedman, Angela, and Philip convinced me to join in on their game of Four Square.. I could not REMEMBER the last time I played that game!! Anyway, so eventually pretty much everyone joined in except for Justin [BOO! =)] and it was SO much fun.. Riedman kept on making up rules I'd never even heard of before, like, 'Bus Stop' and 'Don't break the dishes!'.. Holy crap that was so funny!!
Well, today I already worked from 7-9 this morning at 6th Street.. and I'm working 1:30-10 p.m. at Big 5.. What a long day!! Jor said that he and Bekah would visit me at work, though.. So they better keep their word ;) Have a fantastic day, everyone!! |

Today is Thursday, June 30, 2005.
I worked this morning.. only from 7-9 A.M. which was a a nice break from the long 8 hour shift I had at Big 5 from 1:30-10 P.M. [w/ a lunch break] that I had yesterday.. I have to admit, getting home around 10:20 last night, going to bed around 11:30.. and then waking up at 6:00 this morning to make coffee and be *PERKY!* can get pretty draining.. but I'm TRYING to tough it out.. it's just hard when I've already been working there for 3 weeks and have yet to see a single paycheck.. Thank the Lord for tips, that's all I've got to say..
I'm so.... unsettled. About so many things right now.. I wish things could work out and everything could be like it was last summer, but I know that that is something impossible to ask for. I'm not dwelling in the past [okay, i do sometimes..], I just miss it.. and the way things used to be.. But I know that God's using this time period in my life to focus my attention on him and allow me to grow to be a stronger Christian and a better role model for all of the people in my life.. just as theyre role models to me.. Sometimes I just things were so much simpler.. That at the snap of a finger or a wiggle of the nose, everything would be fine and there wouldnt be anything to worry about.. But doesn't everyone wish that?
Anyway.. today's marks a day for recovery.. and moving on.. I'm going to give my dog a bath, and then take my sisters to Lion's Field for some games outside and maybe some tennis.. I hope that it stays as beautiful outside as it is right now.. The weather puts a bandaid on my feelings for the moment.. I need to go to the gym tonight.. Nicole, Dru, Jeni? Anyone up for that?? =)
This feeling is a first for me.
But I'm going to try to put everything behind me and not just be CONTENT with the way things are, but try to make them enjoyable to live with.. I'm still a very lucky girl- I have the most awesome friends and family.. ..I can't wait for my mom and grandma to get back from Korea.. One more week from today!!

What a strange summer..
First of all, it hasn't felt like summer since I started working... I'm currently working two jobs: one at the Best Shot Espresso, and another at Big 5 as a cashier.. both are fun and time-consuming.. but yeah.. did i mention time-consuming?? It's okay, though.. can't complain about the pay checks.. although i still haven't recieved my first.. hmm..
I can't wait for school to start.. Today, i signed up for a dorm assignment at UW and am really excited.. Here were my choices: 1.) McCarty 2.) Terry 3.) Lander 4.) McMahan [or however you spell it].. i hope i get lucky and score a good roommate.. otherwise.. well, we'll see how that goes ;) I'll only be living in the dorms for the first quarter, hopefully, and then would like to find an apartment.. but i dont know who i'd live with! The agony...
Alrighty, well, i'd planned to write more, but im a busy girl! gotta take my sisters out to walmart and then to get haircuts because my mom and gma took off for korea on thursday for two weeks! Good Lord. hahaha..

It's definitely been a long time since I've updated.. Oh well!! =)
So, I got a job at the Best Shot Espresso place.. Dennica works there too and I'm really excited to finally feel like I'll actually be doing something!! The movie theater called me today too, but I missed it, so I'll call them back tomorrow and try to set something up..
My first day of work is tomorrow.. at freakin 6:30 A.M... in Bremerton, so that's going to be lovely.. but its only training and I'll only be working until 9 A.M.. so that works.. and then after that, I'm heading over to pick up Peter Walker-Richards, and then driving to Enumclaw to pick up Stefani Davis.. and then off to Vancouver [the Coove] to spend the next two days with Miss Lindsey Wright!! I'm so excited to see Stef and Linds- it's been forever!!! I havent seen either since we left school.. so it will be a great reunion indeed..
So, I'll get back Thursday night.. get up for another 6:30 A.M. shift Friday morning.. then head to my mom's restaurant to work there from 9:30-2 p.m.. and then go to matt's graduation dinner at like 6:30 that night.. it should be loads of fun.. haha..
I got to hang out w/ SamoBamo today, and thats always cool! We watched Minority Report and just chilled out for awhile.. I might head back over there tonight, depending on the way things go.. I worked out at Westcoast again today.. I've been TRYING to get/stay in shape, but I'm not so sure how well that's working..Tiffany's first day working as a Nanny was today.. I can't wait to find out how that went! She's such a lucky duck.. $14/hour, 8 hours a day, Mon-Thurs.. AND a free apartment and food.. gosh.. she's living the life..

Wowza. 3 more days are left of my Freshman year in college.. WSU has been fun.. made lots of new friends, that I know I'll keep in touch w/ forever.. I <3 all of my girls.. theyre so awesome, and I would never have thought that I would make the friends that I did.. It's surreal to think that school will be over for me so soon.. and summer is just around the corner.. I'm so happy that WSU gets out way earlier than everyone else.. but luck has it that tiffany and I just happen to be done w/ school on the same day!! I'm pretty sure that God had that planned out =)
I'm really not into the whole 'finals' feeling.. I have a history final tuesday afternoon, and an econ final wednesday morning at 8, followed by a Business Calculus final at 10.. and then I'm done!! How fabulous =).. B-town.. here I come!!!
I can't wait to see everyone back at home.. I miss them all so much.. Hopefully they'll still wanna see me......!! I'd love to head over to Seattle ASAP to visit some UW and SU kids.. if anyone will allow me to =).. Anyway, I think I might just start on some history notes so that I'm not COMPLETELY lost.. hehe.. It's been a while!!
I'm down to 8 more days here in Pullman, and I can't WAIT to get out of here! Not that I don't like the school- I love the campus and the prof's.. its just that I need to be back at HOME where I belong =).. I find out about UW in June.. and am very curious to see whether or not I'll get in.. I guess we'll find out in a little over a month!!
Things here have been going well.. classes are wrapping up, and you can tell that everyone's getting that 'end of the school year' jiggy feeling, and the weather has been AWESOME.. It's 82 outside right now.. super clear skies.. couldn't ask for me.. except to be back in good ole Bremerton!! I was just there this weekend, because I went home friday night to go w/ tiffany to her school's banquest that was held in the Seahawks Stadium Clubhouse.. That was incredible.. the view of the field and the stadium was amazing.. there was one of those photo booths that do the 4 photo strip thingy and it was free and you could go into it as many times as you wanted to.. that was way cool.. and yeah, there was a christian opera group that sang, also, and they were amazing.. one of them was quite handsome, as well =).. [dont stress, matt =D] and yeah! then we caught the 12:50 A.M. ferry back after the banquet.. and we were dressed in our formal gowns and had our hair up, and i swear, every single person besides up on the ferry was a drunk middle-aged man.. Needless to say, we were approached by a few tipsies, who proceeded to bring more of their friends over to us.. one of whom had pee'd himself.. so that was lovely.. gotta love seattle in all its glory..
We got back to tiffany's house around 2:00 A.M. and then Matthew picked me up from there, and we headed over to his house for like an hour, but then he brought me home.. and I was woken up the next morning by the beautiful roar of the lawn mower.. Silly Father.
Saturday passed by in kind of a blur.. I spent practically the whole day w/ Matt, at my Mom's restaurant and at my house.. we watched Cirque du Soleil for a while, which is always entertaining.. and then we had a barbeque, and tiffany came over for a while.. we left after that to go rent a movie and go to matt's house.. ended up renting pitch black, but never watched it because matt's parents had already rented 'Finding Neverland' and 'Spanglish,' so we watched those instead.. I left there at 3 A.M. again, and woke up early sunday morning to have breakfast w/ the fam, and then went to church.. Matt, Marc, Aaron, and I ended up going to Red Robin afterwards, which is always fantastic.. and then I suggested that we head down to the Silverdale waterfront, where we proceeded to push over rocks to find as many tiny crabs and eels that we could.. that was lots of fun.. then we went down to the dock.. I sunbathed for approximately 3.8 minutes, and then headed back home.. Yet another B-B-Q.. Patti picked me up around 6:50 p.m. to head back to pullman.. and we got here by midnight.. she's amazingly quick. hahah.. i was holding on for dear life for a while there =) but i <3 her!
Now I'm back at school.. its Tuesday.. and I skipped the one class that I had today [no worries, we're done w/ everything that counts in that class already].. and yeah! guess im gunna go take a nap, cuz I sunbathed for like an hour on the library lawn w/ francis just a little bit ago, and that wiped me out! =) Have an awesome day, everyone! |
